ONE TALE AT A TIME
Song

Join The Pals in singing

One Tale at a Time

to the tune of

Row, Row, Row Your Boat.

Pals are fun and good

Helpful, patient, and kind.

Friendly and thoughtful

Forgiving others

One Tale at a time.

Friend, Friend, PAL!
Game

This game is played the same as Duck Duck Goose.

Gather your family and friends and sit in a circle.

The oldest player is called, the skipper and starts the game.

  • The skipper stands up and skips around the outside of the circle.

  • He/she gently taps the other players' heads and says, "friend," "friend," "friend..."

  • The skipper chooses someone to chase him/her by tapping their their head saying, "PAL."

  • The PAL stands up, runs clockwise, and tries to gently tag the skipper.

  • If the PAL tags the skipper, he/she can go back and sit in their spot.

  • If the PAL does not tag the skipper, he/she  becomes the new skipper and starts the game all over again.

  • The game ends when everyone has had a turn.
